Hello, I'm Jason.

I'm a high school English teacher by day and an author by night (if by “night” you mean the early morning when it’s still dark). Ever since I was a kid, I've been a fantasy nerd in love with the art of story.

One of my passions is sharing the craft of story with those who want to learn. My world building course for fantasy writers is a bestseller on Udemy, and my writing courses have over 15,000 students enrolled from all over the world.

I live with my family in beautiful Nicaragua—the land where I once proposed to my wife on an active volcano. (It erupted a week later, but I had nothing to do with that.)
